New guy. Also new to forums

Hey what’s up, I run a performance and diesel auto shop in Fort Worth TX. I can’t wait to test drive the new ranger. I currently own a 98 2wd ranger that’s 5.0/t5 swapped. This is going to be my fav internet place from

Welcome to the forum. I expect that a lot of previous gen owners are keeping tabs on the new model. Not sure if Ford has mentioned when exactly we can expect deliveries to begin at dealers.

toyota might be offering 2 engine options to choose from but the 2.3-liter ecoboost produces enough in other Ford products, I doubt OP or anyone cares for anything else.

Welcome to the forum, glad to hear that the new Ranger is piquing the interest of old gen owners. Its a shame we wont be able to row our own gears, but manuals have been on their way out for years.

As long as Ford shows us as much love as Toyota did to Tacoma owners, then I will have nothing to complain about
